A Framework For Advanaced/Intelligent Operation Of Emulsion Copolymerization Reactors
|
Modelling, Simulation and Control of Emulsion Copolymerization of styrene and MMA are the
three parts of the project. Since, one of the biggest industries in the world is polymerization
process, more studies are required to develop better ways to produce higher yield and
profit. One way to development, is to model the reaction, using the real kinetics data,
and then use the model to optimize the process, with the required key polymer property. This
is then to be controlled by advanced control systems. A supervisory control system is put over
the hierarchy to control, inform and serve the customer needs.
